Management Business Plan
Objective: To provide the intern an opportunity to develop a business plan aimed at the implementation of a retail marketing strategy.

Executive Summary: The Old Court Café is a cafeteria run by Aramark at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Maryland. The Old Court Café serves meals to its employees and visitors and guests every single day. A Football Friday theme day was chosen for October 30th to support the Baltimore Ravens in their game against the San Diego Chargers on November 1st. Flyers were hand delivered to employees by going door to door within the hospital and across the street at the Professional Center. Additionally, an all-user email was sent out with the flyer attached to all employees to remind them of this event.
The goals of this promotion were to increase traffic, check and retail sales. A marketing analysis was completed which examines the café’s strengths, weaknesses and competitors, in addition to consideration of the time of year and previous successful promotional events.
